MY APPROACH
My philosophy of therapy is holistic, meaning that I believe that people are made up of many parts – body, soul (mind, emotions, will) and spirit. How those parts interact internally and externally makes us who we are. I am a Christian and I believe God has created us to be in a relationship with him and with other people. My approach to therapy is from a systemic perspective. I believe that people work in relational systems and each person in a relationship is important to the health of the whole. When relationships become out of balance, it is a result of many different factors or patterns, which can be examined in the therapy sessions. I place a strong emphasis on healthy communication, problem solving and emotional connections.

MY STORY
I have been an attorney for 20+ years. While I have enjoyed that career, I am excited to get back to my first passion and calling, counseling. I recently graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University with a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy.
