MY APPROACH
My goal in therapy is to build a therapeutic alliance with my clients that facilitates healing and growth. I have a solid, grace-oriented approach because I believe so many people struggle with guilt and shame. Furthermore, I couple the wisdom of the Scriptures with both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Emotion-Focused Therapy to give my clients the best opportunity to reach their personal and relational goals.

MY STORY
I taught middle and high school for ten years before becoming a therapist. I have a master's degree in both coaching and professional counseling from Liberty University. I find it very beneficial having both because sometimes, all people need is a little coaching. I enjoy all things outdoors, especially mountain biking with my husband. We have five children and five grandchildren, which keep us very busy!
